10 Most Popular Muscle Cars by MuscleCarOfTheWeek

Before we begin, you need to know that this top list is based on the most popular episodes from Muscle Car of the Week, the episodes with most count views on the net. So let’s begin with the Number 10 spot. #10 A car that you probably wouldn’t imagine, makes the top ten. 1970 Mercury Cyclone powered by very rare Super Cobra Jet 429. It’s a pilot car, one of the first down the assembly line. #9 1970 Plymouth Super Bee painted in lemon twist yellow, great looks combined with a lot of power under the hood. An episode where the name “Super Bee” is explained.

Moving on, #8 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 XL  R-Code 427, very rare vehicle with specific (non-available for Ford) color. Actually, this specific color used for this Ford vehicle is a Mercury color called “Coventry Gray”. #7 1971 Dodge Challenger 426 HEMI powered and adorable as always, no introduction needed for this one. This particular one was bought at Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago. #6 1970 Plymouth SuperBird with a giant wing on the back and a 426 HEMI under the hood. Very unique back story for this one, explained in the number 57 episode. #5 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E powered by a 427 V8 machine. Kind of a luxury Hot Rod with a great color combination and also very rare with unique engine. Another screaming yellow Dodge, this time at #41970 Dodge Daytona. Big wing on the back and a nose cone, this beast is powered by 440 cubic inch and a single 4-barrel.

Going forward at number #3 spot. There is this perfect looking 1970 1/2 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air IV. Powered by a Ram Air IV 400 cubic inch V8 machine – 4 speed transmission. Definitely an awesome looking car with incredible performance. #2 position belongs to the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. This Mustang with Boss 302 package is worth every dollar, it’s basically a road (and track) racer on the streets. Finally we are at the #1 spot where we have the 1970 grabber blue Ford Mustang Boss 429. This engine is actually a NASCAR engine with aluminum heads, which makes this car more attractive. Tremendous classic muscle on top, but let’s not forget that this is the car with the most play counts online. That doesn’t mean that it is the most popular muscle car out there, or maybe it is… What do you, guys think?
