1956 Pontiac Chieftain
The Chieftain model from Pontiac was produced by General Motors from 1949 to 1958. Only eight years of production but enough to make three different generations. First from 1949 to 1954, second one from 1955 to 1957 and the third generation is only one production year – 1958. Many different body styles based on A-body platform, 2-door coupe and convertible, 4-door sedan and this particular one 4-door station wagon. The Pontiac Chieftain project also was classified as a full-size vehicle back in the days.
