1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 289 K Code
When you first look at this car you say that’s a pretty clean 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe, doesn’t have a fancy wheels, probably have a small engine inside etc. But if you look a little closer you will see a ‘V’ badge that usually means V8 under the hood. That’s confusing, because obviously this isn’t a GT but a very basic Mustang. The truth is there were a lot of different Mustang options available back in 1965.
What we are looking at is known as K Code high compression version of the 289 machine. It’s got 4-barrel special intake manifold. All this is enough for 271 horsepower. Basic 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe with a factory installed 289 high performance V8 under the hood, that’s what makes this car so unique.
