1966 Dodge Charger 426 HEMI
One of the best and the biggest muscle cars from the 60’s, the 1966 Dodge Charger is one of the first fastbacks of their time. Another interesting fact is that beside this huge body platform the ’66 Charger still wasn’t a full-size car, beside the fact that was much bigger than the Mustang. The Charger was a brand new model back in 1966, this year was the first model year for the Dodge Charger.
We are enjoying the unique design but the real fun of course is under the hood. This vehicle is powered by the famous street HEMI with 426 cubic inches producing about 425 horsepower and 490 pound feet of torque. With engine like this, it’s obviously that this car was designed to go as well as to show.
