1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX and the NASCAR Legend Richard Petty “The King”
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is for all petrolheads. A very special event which is organized in June every year at West Sussex, England, where we can see all the best cars and motors ever produced. This year the special guest star was the NASCAR Legend Richard Petty so called “The King” which had left behind 7 titles in the Daytona 500 and in 1967 had won 27 races of total 48, as well many other victories and titles.
His beloved NASCAR 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX 426 HEMI powered muscle car has not been driven since the 1967 because they have kept in the museum. But for this special event they had changed the engine oil, checked the brakes and the car after so many years works perfectly. In fact, this Plymouth Belvedere GTX originally is 1966 model, but Petty had managed to look like the 1967 Belvedere.
