1969 Ford Ranchero GT 428 Cobra Jet
How about a muscle car that knows how to work for a living. Ford basically invented the personal car-truck market back in the mid 50’s. This 1969 Ford Ranchero was designed to be a vehicle that retains the driving performance of a sedan, but has the functionality of a pickup truck. The most interesting thing is that the Ford guys didn’t forget to keep a performance version in mind, when they released the Ranchero. Inside of the car it’s basically like seating in a Torino GT, with comfortable bench seat and very minimum instrumentation on the board.
As we mentioned before, there is a high performance engine under the hood. It was took from the high performance Ford Torino version and added to this vehicle. It is a 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet machine that creates 335 horsepower and 440 ft-lb of torque. This is enough to smoke the tires completely of the rims if you want to.
