1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum with 1650 Horsepower
Today we have the star from the SEMA motor show. The spectacular 1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum presented by Jay Leno himself in his Jay Leno’s Garage show. This Charger is built and designed by SpeedKore Performance. The most obvious thing on this Mopar are the naked carbon fiber body panels, which make him very unique. This 1970 Dodge Charger is one piece of art in every aspect, built in perfection.
SpeedKore Performance has chosen very unique Powetrain for this 1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum. Under his carbon fiber hood there is a boat engine. Precisely Twin-Turbocharged Mercury Marine Offshore Racing QC4V 552 cubic-inch or 9.0 liter all-aluminum Crate V8 engine. The V8 engine is boosted with two 94mm turbochargers and generates 1650 horsepower. All that power is transferred via Tremec T56 Bowler six-speed manual transmission system at the Ford 9-inch rear end. Massive HPE wheels are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires and braking performance comes from Bear six-piston calipers.
