1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302
The production of the Mustang Boss series had a purpose, 302 was created to meet the Trans Am while 429 was created to homologate the 429 Boss engine for NASCAR use. These two series were famous on the track back in the days and are still popular on the streets until today. The production started in 1969 and only two model years were on the production line. This 1970 Mustang Boss 302 has had some changes form the previous 1969 version. The biggest one surly was the replacing 2 out of 4 headlights with two vents in the outside position.
Some of the other changes were the ‘hockey stick’ stripes on the side of the car which started along the top of the hood, redesigned dual – exhaust system, along with competition suspension and a standard Hurst shifter.
