1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird Incredible Story
Since Mike was a little kid, he wanted a Plymouth Road Runner Superbird. Every day he passed by a house, in the back yard of this house there were two old Superbirds. Mike wanted to buy one of those Superbirds but he was afraid to ask the owner about selling one of his cars. Mike then decided to build a clone of a Daytona, but he run on some difficulties with some body parts. Because of that his friend advised him to go to the owner or those two Superbird’s and try to talk with him about his problem.
The 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird was specially designed and developed for NASCAR. At the time, the aerodynamic body was designed using a wind tunnel. The engines provided for this model were 426 HEMI V8, 440 Super Commando and 440 Super Commando Six Barrel. The power of the engines is between 370 and 430 horsepower for the street version.
