1971 Chevy Camaro – The best Pro Street machine ever built
As you know already, the Street Machine Nationals in DuQuoin, Illinois is an event where are gathered some of the best Pro Street muscle cars ever produced. Some of them are built back in the 70 ‘ties, the period when expands the Pro Street “culture”. What defines the Pro Street muscle car? Usually the Big tires at the back and skinny at the front, powerful engine with blower out of the hood and colorful body paint.
Here we have one of the best examples, the 1971 Chevy Camaro Pro Street, which was built back in the 1993 and appeared in the 1994 on Car Craft magazine front page. This Pro Street Camaro is beautifully fabricated with Bahama blue body color and interior. Under the hood there is a stock TPI engine from IROC-Z Z/28 Camaro, actually, is 350 cubic inch or 5.7 liter L98 Small-Block V8 engine, factory rated at 230 horsepower at 440rpm and 330 lb.-ft. of torque at 3200 rpm. After all this beautiful Camaro certainly will stay one of the best Pro Street machines ever built.
