1972 Chevelle SS – 20” Wheels
As we all know, Chevelle is a mid-sized vehicle produced by Chevrolet division of General Motors starting from 1964 to 1977. The most popular models from this Chevy version are the late 60’s and early 70’s. It’s based on a GM A-body platform. This particular 1972 model year is part of the second generation (1968 – 1972). There are many different body styles for this second generation like, 2-door hardtop, coupe, convertible, sedan, 4-door sedan, hardtop, station wagon.
Speaking about the engine, this particular Chevelle have the strongest one (for the whole second generation) – 454 cubic inch – 7.4 liter Big-Block V8. There are also four different transmissions for the second generation, 3-speed and 4-speed manual, 2-speed and 3-speed automatic. Another interesting detail are the 20 inch Savini wheels with big-disc brakes.
