2016 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak – Everything You Need To Know
We wrote at the beginning when the new 2016 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak came out, but now we will go deeply with all details you need to know. The Drag Pak, as you know will be offered in two versions depending on the engine, naturally aspirated “the black stripe” and supercharged “the blue stripe” Challenger.
These 2016 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak versions are: “The Blue Stripe” Challenger is powered by Supercharged 354 cubic-inch Gen III HEMI V8 engine, with cast iron Mopar block, Mopar aluminum cylinder head and 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger. “The Black Stripe” Challenger is powered by a naturally aspirated 426 cubic-inch Gen III HEMI V8 engine, with Mopar aluminum block and cylinder heads (the horsepower remains unknown).
Both Drag Pak Challenger’s will be equipped with a roll cage, Sparco bucket seats, Hurst drag race shifter, racing three speed automatic TH400 with SFI case, transmission system, Mopar lightweight wheels with Hoosier drag racing slicks-tires and high performance Strange Engineering braking systems. The price has starting point at $99,426 for naturally aspirated 426 HEMI, and $109,354 for supercharged 354 HEMI.
