All Original Richard Carpenter’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda

Everyone knows the Plymouth Barracuda, but this one belongs to Richard Carpenter the famous musician from The Carpenters. This Cuda, Richard bought with his father back in the 70’s and is still in his possession. This 440 Cuda is just amazing, like it was produced yesterday, all original, never restored and it is in perfect condition.

Under the Shaker hood this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda is equipped with the Chryslers 440 cubic-inch, 7.2 liter RB big-block V8 engine. With the Six Pack (three two-barrel carburetors) this engine produces 390 horsepower and 490 lb. -ft. of torque. Also, this Cuda is equipped with TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and original Goodyear Polygalass GT tires. The interior has the luxury option which makes this Barracuda rare member in the Mopar family.
