Blasphemi – Crazy Bel Air Car
The Mike Finnegan’s 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air car, so called Blasphemi, is like a wet dream for all classic car enthusiasts. With the body of a Chevy and the HEMI engine inside, this unusual classic car is something between a dragster and long distance road car. Mike had proven that, by traveling from Los Angeles all the way to Charlotte, earlier this year.
Basically, this 1955 Chevy Bel Air car has 535 cubic-inch or 8.4 liter Mopar Hemi engine with electronic fuel injection developing more than 700 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. The transmission system is a six-speed manual Tremec T56. The windows are Lexan from ProGlass. Now Mike has decided to make some small changes with upgrading the electronic fuel system with FAST XFI 2.0 and lowering the front suspension. What will be the final result, find out in the video below, enjoy.
