Ford Mustang Boss 429 – Powerful Elegance
A frekin’ cool vehicle on today’s menu. Tremendous 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, one of the most mythical Mustangs of all time. The engine, transmission, rear end and suspension systems – selected specifically to do one thing, win races. On the other hand, you don’t have the be a Mustang fan to agree that the Boss 429 is a “bad ass”. To be honest, this is one of the best classic muscle looks ever designed and produced.
This perfect classic is powered by the biggest engine Ford ever put in a Mustang. It’s the Boss 429 (cubic inches) designed and built to run faster, harder and longer than the Chrysler HEMIs on a NASCAR superspeedway. The rulebook said that to make an engine competitive and legal for NASCAR you have to sell some for general public. Ford chose to do that in the Mustang. However the Mustang was not a NASCAR race car, the Torino Talladega was.
