In 2014 Mecum Auction at the CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle, has set the new world record for selling American muscle car for $3,500,000. This is the most historical moment for Mopar and American automotive history, because this 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible had reached the highest price ever.

This metallic blue 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible with gorgeous blue interior is one of the eleven ever build, while two were sold in the US, with numbers matching and the original condition had become the most valuable Mopar ever. This Hemi Cuda is powered by Chrysler’s 426 cubic-inch or 7.0 liter Hemi V8 engine, factory rated at 425 horsepower and 490 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is attached by four speed manual transmission system which spins the rear wheels equipped with Polyglas GT tires.
