Plymouth Duster Big Block Swap – Farm Find Rescue
The original Plymouth Duster is a semi-fastback 2-door version of the Valiant. It’s a vehicle produced by Chrysler in six different model years, from 1970 to 1976. This particular farm-find Plymouth Duster is 1970. This beauty was at least 5 years neglect in the dirt of a grape farm. There were some engine upgrades made on this Duster along with homemade driveshaft and installing a used exhaust system.
Under the hood of this Mopar machine there is 440 cubic inch big-block salvaged from the General Mayhem 1968 Charger. However, the strongest factory build engine for the Duster was 360 cubic inch 5.9 liter LA V8. The factory installed transmission was 3-speed manual, 4-speed manual or 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic.
